When did it suddenly become cool to hate everything? It's a growing problem, especially in the entertainment world, and no one benefits from an increasingly hard to please, pessimistic audience.

Wilted Love
These flowers represent the wilted love and result of the classic story of an artist and his muse. She left him, of course, for an unimaginative and fabulously wealthy pop artist. In memory of their brief, yet beautiful love, the artist made this sculpture; with flowers as wilted as the love in his heart. * * * Nope, this lovely excerpt did not come from the recesses of my lovestoned mind. Rather they're an object description in the PC game Sims 2. The description really spoke to me though, eventually driving me to create this; the most complicated photomanipulation I've ever attempted. It took me so long to finish. I really wanted to do it justice not only because I had yet to create a decent photomanipulation with accurate shading & blending, but also I wanted to pay tribute to the beautiful story captured within. As I would constantly think of what I could contribute to this piece to make it perfect flashes of concepts and imagery filled my head, finally resulting in this.
